The Program is ten sessions, the first session taking two hours and all other sessions one hour each. Each week I meet privately with participants of The Program to review what worked and didn’t work with weekly assignments. Additionally, participants of The Program are encouraged to email me with as many questions, need for guidance, or comments as they learn how to conquer their food addiction.
Here are some ways you can gauge whether or not you may benefit from The Program: 1.Can you go for a long time without eating but once you start you cannot stop? 2.Are you a secret eater? 3.Do you consider yourself out of control around certain foods? 4.Have you tried to change your habits, without success? 5.Are you frustrated and angry about your weight, but nothing changes? 6.Does the thought of having an eating disorder make you sad? 7.Do you eat when you’re angry? Anxious? Depressed? 8.Do you stock up on certain foods, such as buying two boxes of cookies or the supersize of soda for a few pennies more? 9.Do you ever have the exact change ready when buying food to eat when you know you’re not hungry. If you answered yes you may be in the habit of eating even when not hungry.
